![]() I haven't bought anything since this event and otherwise I have kept purchases unless they have been too large. It is now September and I got an email from them that I have returned too much stuff lately and if I keep returning things they will limit service on my account. Neither of the shoes fit despite being my size (they were too large and I probably would have broken an ankle) so I picked the dress I liked most and returned the other two. ![]() What kind of company treats their customers like this?!īought 3 dresses and 2 pairs of shoes in May with the intention of purchasing a pair of shoes and a dress for graduation. Now my wedding dress budget is even smaller than before and has been tarnished by this experience. I am so devestated as I had planned on using the money that they stole from me to buy my wedding dress. They refunded me with store credit which I do not want! It does not say on their website that items will not be accepted for a full refund. The kicker is I wasn't wearing makeup when I tried these dresses on and I do not even have a pet! This is obvious fraud. Also-why did I not get a refund for the other three dresses if only one of them has supposed hair and makeup on it. They sent me two photos of one dress crumpled up with pet hair and makeup on it, without any proof that this item is mine. ![]() Lulus claims they don't pass quality control because of pet hair and makeup (eerily similar to another reviewers post on a different website). All fit poorly and I immediately placed them undamaged back in the bags and returned them within the 10 day window. Terrible customer service and lies! I spent $400 on four wedding dresses to try on. I hope they resolve the issue with store credit but until they do don't let them give it to you or else you are going to deal with a big headache trying to the money back from them. ![]() Regarding the story credit problems I give them one star but because they did ultimately resolve it (after a considerable amount effort!) and in the past I've had good dealings with them I give them 3 stars overall. I regret ever opting to have store credit for a return and I hope no other customer has to deal with the same thing I've had to deal with. I then asked them to fully refund my credit and they finally did it but not without considerable effort and pushing on my part. After I pushed some more they offered to return it for some previous order and before I agreed to do that they did it without my approval. I finally had a free moment to contact customer service and they gave me the run around about how they could not give me back my store credit despite my issues using it on there website. My store credit should have been used in its entirety but was not and this was after a few attempts to use store credit as there website explains. I have since tried making several orders where I selected to use store credit but then found later my credit card was charged instead. I've been a big fan of lulus ever since discovering them and have never had an issue until I opted to get store credit for a return instead having the funds returned to me. I have warned all my friends and will never be shopping here again. They don't even have a customer service phone line. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life. It makes no sense why Lulus wouldn't refund the sales tax and get the refund from the government themselves. I've had international refunds before and this has never happened before. They provided no guidance at all and said it was their standard policy. Instead, after back and forth with them passing me to different departments because the customer service rep couldn't do simple math, they linked me a to Canada Border Service Agency's website to mail a form to the government to get my sales tax instead. You get docked the shipping cost for both ways which will be over $30 (the return shipping is more expensive) and they will NOT refund you the sales tax, which is unheard of. Lulus makes their return process look easy but you will be out over $50 if you try to make a return.
